A Soviet space platform known as Tri-Vee which is also an archival and reconstruction super-visory unit, has circled the world for 40 years. Last of the old world and herald of the new, Tri-Vee takes control of the New humans spacecraft and sets them on a new course. Meanwhile Roger Brunner is in a difficult situation for his past betrayal.
