Issue: #2
The miniseries following an all-female group of mercenaries during the Dark Ages continues. Within the palace walls of the besieged 9th-century empire of Birzenia, a ragtag band of female warriors is put to a bloodthirsty test. But even greater challenges lie ahead in the form of priestly spirits, jealous royalty and utterly bizarre romance.
