After barely escaping Jun's trap with their skins, Nagawa, Mai and Reiko try to make sense of the chaos around them. Thinking that they had evaded the worst of their troubles, they are gravely mistaken as a city of cyborgs and robots seem to awaken from every corner of Macropolis from some unknown slumber.
