In 1980 and 1981 Grandreams published two tie-in annuals to the TV show BJ and the Bear, about a trucker Billy Joe "BJ" McKay (played by Greg Evigan) and his pet chimpanzee Bear (named after Alabama football coach Paul William "Bear" Bryant). The second annual is notable for including two features written and drawn by Alan Moore.
